Desc

It is the lightest wood in Japan with a dignified appearance of grain. It rarely passes through moisture and has little splitting or distortion. It has a unique luster and atmosphere when compared to other wood of the same color. There are other types of paulownia trees, such as the Taiwanese paulownia (P.kawakamii) and the nine-story paulownia (P.fortunei), but they are difficult to distinguish.
