Born in 1948 at Ichimiya-cho, Tokushima city, Tokushima prefecture

In 1971 he submitted his work to the Art Exhibition of Tokushima Prefecture for the first time and won a semi special award. Since then he has been presenting his works at such major Japanese art exhibitions as Japan Contemporary Arts and Crafts Exhibition, and The Japan Fine Arts Exhibition etc.

Fellow member of The Japan Fine Arts Exhibition, regular member of Japan Contemporary Arts and Crafts, regional committee member of Japan Contemporary Arts and Crafts Shikoku Association, Tokushima branch, director of the Art Association of Tokushima Prefecture
